Actionfigurer

Actionfigurer började tillverkas redan på 60 talet av tillverkare som Hasbro, Mego, Takara, Medicom och Kenner. Idag har actionfigurerna utvecklats och blivit en hel industri för leksaker och samlarfigurer. Det var från början Hasbro som ”uppfann” marknaden då de ville sälja ”dockor” även till pojkar. De nya pojkdockorna fick det numera välbekanta namnet action figure, dvs actionfigur som vi säger idag. Även om actionfigurer mer har förknippats med leksaker för barn blir det allt vanligare med vuxna entusiaster och samlare. Samlarfigurer har även i Sverige blivit en egen marknad och priserna på populära samlarfigurer i orginalförpackning börjar öka även här. I och med att medier, film, TV, spel och serier blir en allt större och viktigare del av våra liv lägger både tillverkare och konsumenter mer tid och resurser på att producera och konsumera actionfigurer, statyer och samlarfigurer som framställer våra favoritkaraktärer, hjältar och monster. Populära tillverkare av actionfigurer Hasbro, Neca, Diamond Select ,Mezco

I takt med den växande marknaden för actionfigurer som nu omfattar även vuxna konsumenter och samlare har även figurerna förändrats och utvecklats. Hollywood och leksakstillverkare har drivit på branchens utveckling med storfilmer och franchises som Star Wars, Alien, Batman, Predator. Fantasy, spel och scifi figurer från bl.a Hasbro, Neca, Diamond Select och Mezco har höjt kvalitén på actionfigurerna som idag fungerar lika bra för samlande. De är mer detaljerade, verklighetstrogna, rörliga, ofta med utbytbara delar och tillbehör. Förutom Hasbros Mavel Legends filmfigurer och Marvel Selects ikoniska superhjältar är några av de mest populära actionfigurerna Neca Alien figurer samt Predator actionfigurer. Självklart hör även Batman actionfigurer från Dc Collectibles till favoriterna.
